Let me tell you, it's a wild ride. Where do I even start?
I love college. I love the freedom, I love that I take classes that I actually want to take, and I love that I have a great group of friends and that we get to have fun. I like that I'm responsible for myself, and I like that I get to choose. But it can be rough. I'm stressed all the time, always have homework, and have to work on top of school to be able to pay my own bills. It's a lot, but I honestly think it's worth it. It's the next phase of my life, and a step that I am more than glad to take, no matter the anxiety it might cause.
One of my favorite things about college is getting to do what I love all day. I like to write, and although that means a lot of homework, at the end of the day I enjoy working for my dreams. There's a quote from a tv show called "Community" that I love and have always found funny. I had a friend one time tell me that this quote reminded them of me and how I approach my writing. It inspired me to work hard and chase after that feeling and helped me keep in mind the kind of writer I want to be. It's a little strange because it's such a satire quote, but on a deeper level, I resonate with it. I want to be able to manipulate people's emotions with simple words on a page. I think that is an insane skill. That is what pushes me in my classes and why I love writing so much. And that passion is why I'm in college.
Anyways, that's my college experience and opinions in a nutshell. Thanks for coming on my mini-rant with me!
Love, Maddog_5285
